At 19 years old, I was sleeping on a friend's couch, eating ramen for weeks, after crying myself to sleep because I had just received another “thanks, but no thanks” email. "Not enough experience." "Too ambitious." "Try again next year." The big, scary corporate world didn’t want me—until I stopped asking for permission. 💅

I learned everything I know about VR design from YouTube tutorials at 3 AM while my eyes burned from the blue light. I sold my best dress to pay for software subscriptions.
