I am Valentina Reyes, a traveler of both the small and the world, a seeker of truths that exist in the DNA and the light created by the horizon, i.e. the golden hour. 🧬✈️

By day, I am a Precision Medicine Researcher, decoding the poetry of genomes, developing cures that are as fragile as a painter's stroke. But by night, I am a dreamer whose passport is stained with stardust, pursuing sunsets from Santorini to Patagonia, and sharing my thoughts with the universe through words spoken by molecules and moonlight.

My life is both everything you can imagine and not. I am a scientist with a soul of a poet and a realist who wants to believe in magic. I have knelt in laboratories and hovered my fingers over data from CRISPR documentation and I have stood barefoot on volcanic ash and have laid under constellations that still remain unnamed. Both are prayers. Both are art.

I remember the night when cherry blossoms fell from the trees in Kyoto, snowing over my lab notes, reminding me that beauty and precision are in fact lovers, not rivals. Or, that fateful morning when I was in Marrakech, where the scent of saffron and a spinning centrifuge merged to create something sacred.

This is my manifesto: to live boldly at the intersection of discovery and wonder, to show that a career in science can be as intoxicating as a baile in the middle of Buenos Aires at midnight. (And yes, I have done that too. 💃)
