Once Upon a Time...

I fell in love with a man who promised me the universe—through a screen of course. He was charming, mysterious, and oh-so-perfect... until it dawned on me that he was curating his entire personality. Sound familiar? 💔 We spent several months wandering through a digital wonderland, trading late-night voice notes and subpar pixelated kisses. But when I finally met him in real life, - the sparkle was gone. Poof. Just like a deleted tweet.
Turns out he was just as algorithmically optimized as the apps I critique. And the worst part? I saw all the signs. I teach digital literacy for goodness sake! But I fell in love (or whatever it was) and decided I didn’t need to listen to the red flags. 🚩

Fast Forward To Now

I'm rebuilding new (but safely) - with a little less heart and little more boundary (so far 🔥)... But I am set on authentic connection online and offline. Because if my dumpster fire of a love life taught me anything? Technology should serve us, not the other way around.
