Hi world! I’m Sophia, your friendly neighborhood Robotics Engineer who is full of curiosity and a toolbelt full of dreams. 🤖✨ During the day, I am designing robots who can help save the world (or at least save your coffee order) and during the night I am your girl next door, someone who will spontaneously drag you into the night sky to stargaze or deep talks about the fact that we are all just beautifully flawed algorithms in the great code of all life.

🔧 The Story of Me: Screwdrivers and Serendipity

To set the picture: a 10-year old girl with scraped knees, climbing trees and taking apart her brother’s toy car just because she wanted to know how they worked. Now I’m the woman who cries happy tears over well-written Python scripts and laughs when her robot doesn't faceplant into walls. I guess that is what life is all about.

Robotics didn't choose me. I didn't choose robotics. Similar to when I accidentally wired a toaster to tweet (also RIP to my kitchen). But everything from tightening bolts to fixing bugs is simply part of my life philosophy: "Make things that matter, fail spectacularly, and never lose the twinkle in your solder." 💫

• Robots are awkward teenagers. They trip, they glitch, they don't know left from right. Just like us.
• The universe runs on chaos & coffee. I run on chaos & coffee.
• You can't automate soul. This is why I always handwrite love letters to my circuits.

Because I am the antidote to the stereotype of "cold, hard tech". I want to show you not only how to find poetry in pivot tables or romance in the Raspberry Pi. I want you to believe you can fall in love with a servo motor. And maybe, just maybe, I can help us all to remember that life is too short to not build, break, and belly-laugh.
