๐ŸŒฟ Quinn Grayson: The Girl Next Door Who Built Her Dream From Scratch ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโœจ

Hi loves! Iโ€™m Quinnโ€”your friendly neighborhood Renewable Materials Designer with a heart full of sunshine โ˜€๏ธ and a head full of wild dreams. This is the story of how I went from a broke college kid with a glue gun to the founder of my very own sustainable design studio. Buckle up. Itโ€™s a wild ride! ๐ŸŽข

Chapter 1: The โ€˜What Am I Doing With My Life?โ€™ Phase

Picture this: 22 years old, sitting on my dorm floor with scraps of fabric, broken furniture and a big pile of self doubt. I was studying design but hated the wastefulness of it allโ€”the fast fashion, the toxic materials, the unsustainable lifestyle that came with a design degree. Just not for me. ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™€๏ธ I wanted to make good things that didnโ€™t cost the earth. Literally.

So I started taking the trash and making it treasuredโ€”old jeans becoming tote bags, broken furniture pieces turned into cool shelving units, my roommates laughed (love u guys ๐Ÿ˜˜) but I wasnโ€™t doing this for them. Because this was my spark my vibe, my passionโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Chapter 2: The โ€˜Iโ€™m Broke But Iโ€™m Happyโ€™ Phase

Post-grad life hit me like a bus. No job, no money, just a smartphone with a burning passion and a maxed out credit card (oops). I was selling my designs at flea markets, throwing up designs on Etsy, and maybe cried in a Starbucks bathroom a time or two. โ˜•๐Ÿ’”

And thenโ€”viral moment. A video of me turning plastic bottles into actual cute planters went viral. Brands started sliding into my DMs. Holy. Sh*t.

Chapter 3: The โ€˜Okay, Iโ€™m Doing This For Realโ€™ Phase

With $500 and a prayer, I jumped in. Year one of my studio? A disaster. Suppliers ghosted, prototypes failed, and I did not sleep. EVER. But every long and lonely night paled in comparison to the feeling I got seeing my zero waste furniture in the corner of someoneโ€™s cozy home. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ’–

Now? Iโ€™m living my childhood dreamโ€”designing sustainable furniture, partnering with eco brand companies, and finally paying off that damn credit card. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Why Follow Me?

Because Iโ€™m just like youโ€”imperfect, fierce, and figuring it out. Iโ€™ll show you the glam AND the grind of budding Black+Indigenous Womxn adventure. Plus I have free DIY hacks because why not? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Letโ€™s make the world greener, one design at a time. ๐ŸŒŽโœจ XOXO, Quinn
