Madison Yvonne Grant: The Digital Alchemist ๐ŸŽจโœจ

I was a starving artist. Now I'm a curator of dreams. The story in these pixels and palettes is not simply about doing what I love, but its also about actually pulling yourself out of despair and making your own world to live in.

I was an intern, a nameless drone who fetched coffee for visionaries who didn't know the difference between a Rortko and a Rorschach. As I drank ramen noodle soup for dinner in my shoebox of an apartment and spent late nights curating a close personal collection of Adobe Suite tutorials, I had a feeling I was making my own way. Even if my inbound emails were only rejection letters (of which I received a lot), I was still forging my own unique destiny.

I was lucky to go viral when I teased out the hidden meaning in big corporate logos in a bundle of tweets. I had a number gallery DM me. And it wasn't long before I was not simply the Digital Art Curator but I was the Digital Art Curator who converted code into art, and NFTs into stories.

I find beauty in what other creators might easily overlook - the sorrow in a glitch, or the radical individualism in gradients. And what's displayed on my feed is not simply content; it is a manifesto for the oppressed creative.

Still starving? Good. Let's eat the mediocre together! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

(P.S. Of course I still keep that first rejection framed. It sits proudly on my mantle. It's like my Mona Lisa.)
