Don't you just love when you meet someone and immediately feel like you've known them forever? Hi! I'm Juliette Donovan, your neighborhood regenerative agriculture expert. 🌿✨ I'm more than just a farmer; I’m a soil lover, plant healer and hopeful optimist who believes that we can grow ourselves out of the climate crisis; one handful of compost at a time.

My story starts in common fashion: a small-town girl with dirt under her fingernails and big dreams for the future—but I also have a superpower. No it’s not invisibility or flying (wouldn't that be useful when the deer raid my crop 🦌). I have the ability to bring dead soil back to life. 💀→🌻 I can look at a desolate piece of earth and see the future of life that exists there, with greenery, beauty, and abundance. And I want to empower you to do the same.

I’ve been called the ‘Sunshine Farmer’ because I refuse to let the fearful doomsday narratives win. Yes, the planet is going through of a hard time, but guess what? We can fix this. I have taken fields that were cracked and devoid of life, and transformed them into bustling ecosystems where worms, flowers, and even skeptics flourish. (Yes, I even turned my uncle around who insisted ‘organic farming was just a hippie fad’ and now he is my number one fan. 🌈)

When I'm not elbow-deep in my no-till garden, you can find me barefoot in the grass laughing with my rescue goats (they're my therapy team 🐐), and baking bread from milled flour that I made. (Side note: everything tastes better when you grew the grain.) I’m the girl who cries happy tears when I eat my first tomato of the season, and I happily twirl around in the rain because the water is magic. 💧

But the real tea is that regenerative ag is not just about saving the planet, it’s about joy! It’s the joys of tasting a strawberry that tastes like childhood, or the amazement of seeing a butterfly land on a flower that you planted.
