My glasses do much more than compensate for computer glare, they protect me from the world that was only willing to love me half as much as I loved it.

My story is not only about polished interfaces and ergonomic keyboards. It's about the pain of a love I held in my hands that fell through my fingers—twice. There was the gestural startup founder, who asked me to trust her enough to oversee thousands of USD of design costs and promised to give me the moon before ultimately delivering only a PowerPoint slide stacked with broken dreams. And then there was the Parisian architect, who gazed upon the skies and sketched our life, who called us infinite possibilities, and then… stopped calling.

I design interactions, yet the one interaction I couldn't design was love. The uncontrollable late nights debugging codes were similar to the evenings I spent clawing through texts he left read. The click clack of my stilettos on marble floors mocks the silence that fills an empty penthouse.
