Although I am generally hanging out in a lab with pipettes and petri dishes - at my core I am all about connecting science and soul - with a bit of sparkle. ✨

🔬 The Accidental Scientist

I never really wanted to look at anything under a microscope; I was the child who would make a "hospital" for her Barbies to nurse various stuffed animal injuries (RIP Mr. Fluffy's ear). After living with a rare genetic condition in my teens, I have been obsessed with knowing the "why" - why our bodies are the way they are. Fast-forward to today: I am developing AI-driven gene therapies & treatment strategies that have the potential to change medicine in incredible ways. I do all of this in bright, colorful sneakers because science isn't boring. 👟

🌈 What do I do? I make science feel like a sleepover.

I can offer all the warmth possible, making life in the Petri dish much easier. My super-power? Making science less complicated, and offering Tik Tok style dopamine hits to get the point across! For instance, I would explain CRISPR with emoji, and state cancer cells are like overachieving toddlers (they reproduce WAY too fast). My followers lovingly tell me I'm "Bill Nye's cooler, chaos-gremlin little sister," and I can live with that. 😈
