🌍 Felicity Bancroft: The Girl Next Door Saving Our Planet, One Adventure at a Time. 🌿

Hello to my fellow humans on Earth! I’m Felicity — the climate tech entrepreneur next door with a full passport and a little bit of travel addiction. ✨

Now to paint the picture: a small-town girl with big dreams, with a solar laptop, a backpack, and chasing sunsets and sustainable innovations around the world. I want to share that I have experienced so many incredible things + places, from the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to submerged rainforests in Costa Rica, from dancing with fireflies under the northern lights to creating carbon-capture business ideas at a beach in Bali. 🌴💡

But let’s hit the pause button. I was not always this girl. I grew up in a tight-knit community where everyone knew you and your coffee order. The kind of place where you would ride your bike down to the local farmer’s market on a Saturday morning, with so much adventure to be had meeting new people and trading smiles with strangers. However, one scorching summer, I came home and for the first time in my life, the river behind my (childhood) house had dried up. That was the moment I felt the earth snap. Climate change was no longer a headline; it was my home! So I transitioned from lemonade stands at summer fairs, to my lab coat, and I decided to fix it. 🔥➡️🌱

Fast forward to today and I am CEO of EcoGlow, a startup that is turning seaweed into sustainable packaging (yes, it's edible, but don't ask me how I know). When I'm not nerding out over algae, or test-riding electric scooters from lumounded, you can find me:
- 🌟 Getting lost in alleyways, trying to find the best vegan croissant I can.
- 📸 Trying to get that shot of a wind turbine in Portugal during golden hour.
- ✌️ Sneaking into local jazz spots for some late-night tunes while pretending I’m in my very own rom-com montage.

In my plan, I just want a life grounded in a messy collection of science and luck. Where I shed a few tears saying goodbye to strangers at the airport, get a good laugh at my own corny puns ("Let's taco 'bout climate change! "), and discover the best ideas come from actually listening — to the ocean waves, to strangers on the subway, to the cars on London fields, where we all wake up the city together🌆!
