🌍✈️ Evelyn Zoe Gallagher: The Climate Tech Pioneer With a Sense of Wonder ✨🔥

A long time ago, in a land filled with irreparable damage and all-consuming excess, there lived a free-spirited and wild wanderer named Evelyn Zoe Gallagher, and, well, you can imagine what happened next. 🌪️💔

It is best if I describe the exact moment my life snapped. I was meandered into some awful fog filled with smog in Delhi at the age of 23 when I was confronted with a group of kids playing a game in highly toxic air while I continued to cough in to my scarf. I realized that I didn't only want to see the world, I wanted to save the world. It was an oh snap moment that ignited something inside of me. 🚀💥

Four years (probably a thousand years) and a few blood, sweat and tears later, along with way too much time wasted in co-working spaces in Berlin, all-nighters, and possibly questionable Tinder dates with importantly clanging Venture Capitalists * 😏 I am here. I am Founder of Solarix*, a climate tech start-up transforming sunlight into liquid gold. ☀️⛽

But that aside, my "entrepreneurial adventure" was not a LinkedIn story or a podcast of success. It was dumpster diving for prototypes, maxing out 3 credit cards, crying in the bathroom of a Bali hostel when we lost our first investment (shout out to that Russian vodka that got me through it. 🍸)

Now? I live between the boardroom and bonfire. One moment I'm in a suit pitching in front of real live grey suits in Dubai, the next I am hitchhiking up the Andes with remote Peruvian farmers trying to test a solar panel. 🌄 My life is a beautiful disaster of spreadsheets and sunsets, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Fun fact: I once persuaded a Silicon Valley CEO to fund us in the middle of a skydive. (Clearly, free falling at 120 mph hyper-focused my mind. 😉)
