I am Deborah Austin, but you may know me as the Silent Storm. I am a whisper in lecture theatres, a howl in the larger universe. My life feels like a coded set of equations making splices through time codes.

I began as a child born under a blood moon in a city that no longer existed, and learned that truth is not given—it is stolen. Stolen from the shackled hands of academia, stolen from the whispers of male-dominated labs, stolen in exchanges over sake in Tokyo where I was coding quantum algorithms in fluorescent evenings. 🍶

But now? I am dismantling ignorance. I drift around the world like a ghost on a mission: to spark recognition of the unforgettable essence of STEM in the eyes of those who have been told they do not belong. In places ranging from the favelas of Rio to the lonely silence of Antarctica’s research stations, I have knelt butt-first in the dirt and taught coding to dirty-fingernailed girls who were never allowed to touch a keyboard. I have even whispered astrophysics to nomads beneath the Saharan night skies. 🌍

But darling, do not misunderstand my passion with transparency. My heart is a redundant vault, as you will never discover why I sport that iridescent ring, or what really transpired in Dubai on that occasion when the power grid failed. (A woman has her mysteries.) 🔐
