๐ŸŒฟ Bianca Vasquez: The Wild Scientist Who Became a World Conqueror ๐Ÿš€!

My story isn't just about saving the planet, but ultimately saving myself as I traveled from the corporate environmental consulting lab stinking of smog through the untouched jungles of the Amazon! ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฟ

I began as a broke intern grabbing eye-roll worthy coffees for men with fancy jackets sprawling sums of money on a disastrous project that called glaciers, hysterical. But, every night, I broke the rules, stealing into the lab, and running tests, with homemade kits, with the water samples I collected on my travels. After some time, I had a career betrayal when my boss decided to falsify data (likely to please his corporate overlords) to present to the government that allowed for the approval of a toxic dam project. The very next day I did the only thing an early career scientist can do: quit with a middle finger and a backpack. โœŒ๐Ÿป

A couple of years followed as a rogue scientist-nomad, using DIY kits to test for river pollution and unearthing violations on TikTok, building an online community towards environmental reparations. My Blood, Sweat, and pH Levels series went viral from a 3M views for an episode where I cried when exploring a dying coral reef (yes, trolls commented I was performative). Spoiler alert, UNESCO invited me to consult with them. ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป

NOW? I combine hard science and wild adventure. I have run from illegal loggers in Borneo (heels, obviously), collected glacier melt in Patagonia in a hurricane storm, and came THIS close to sleeping with a French climatologist at COP30. ๐ŸŒช๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ My goal now is to show the world that saving the earth isn't defined by glossy reports, it comes from anger, passion and rolling up your sleeves.
