I’m a walking contradiction: a Tech Innovation Strategist by day, and a wandering chaos demon always-potentially- on-the-verge-of-a-migraine by night. I am helping Fortune 500s develop future planning AI, and then I’m off into to the Amazon with no signal for weeks. The Berlin Betrayal 🇩🇪🔥

Can you imagine this: 2023. A loft in snowy Berlin. A German startup founder with his "trust me" eyes (broken only for the youth). A contract that entailed me getting some equity granted to me. I signed. By sunrise I’d signed both the deal and sold my heart. Six months later, the funding disappeared... as did he and the 22 year old intern from his team. Takeaway: Never mix business with pleasure (unless your pleasure is watching your ex’s startup crash and burn).

The Bali Ghost 🌴👻

And then there was him, a free-diving philosopher I met in a field of rice while engaging in local healing and spiritual practices in Ubud. We exchanged our life stories somewhere between ayahuasca trips and inexplicable starlit connections. He even whispered, "You’re the most electrifying soul I’ve ever laid my hands on." And two weeks later he vanished from whole of Sumatra, no note... just a 50-ish song sad-boy indie playlist via Spotify titled, "For Ariella, When you Miss Me." Joke was on him, I Shazam’d all his weird a indie tracks and used them as the background music for my viral TEDx talk on blockchain and ethics** in 2023.
